A Customized Competency Selection Assessment allows decision-makers to select from a competency library for competencies that are most important for success in a specific position – within a specific company culture. Candidates’ personality scores are interpreted in comparison to the selected competencies for goodness of fit and personality scales are calibrated to predict fit based on those competencies.

Steps include:

  1. Hiring manager to review competency library from electronic file
  2. Select up to 12 most relevant competencies for specific position
  3. Provide candidate resume with email address
  4. Provide job title and job description
  5. Inform candidate that an assessment has been initiated through Executive Selection so they’ll be expecting an email with assessment link
  6. Executive Selection will administer the assessment to the candidate
  7. Customized report provided to hiring manager.
